Salisbury University rededicates building to Norman Conway

In addition to his political legacy, former Maryland state delegate Norman Conway will now have a building named after him.

The “Teacher Education And Technology Center” at Salisbury University has been renamed “Conway Hall”.

According to university officials, they chose to do this because of Conway’s life-long dedication to education.

The former delegate tells 47ABC, the campus gave him a foundation to build his career on and has a message for all students who are currently in school.

“We’re in a world today needs all of the educated folks that we can muster, and I think it’s very, very important for young people to recognize how important education is,” Says Conway. “Without it, you’re lost.”

Another campus building named after an esteemed alumnus is the Perdue School of Business, which was named after Frank Perdue.
