DSU tuition to remain unchanged for 2016-2017 school year

DSU receive multimillion dollar grant

Tuition prices and fees will not see an increase at Delaware State University in the 2016-2017 academic year. This according to a release sent out by the school on Sunday.

In-state ($3,755) and out-of-state ($8,069) tuitions will apparently remain the same per semester. We’re told the same goes for mandatory fees that cover things like student activities and technology. The school says traditional residence hall prices will also stay the same, costing students between $3,488 and $3,745 per semester.

The school says only a contractually required, 3% increase in meal plan rates, will go into affect. They say this will help cover the increase in the Consumer Price Index.

“As our students and their families look toward the 2016-2017 school year, they now have the comfort of knowing that their tuition costs will not increase.” Said DSU President Harry L. Williams.
