One Charged in Illegal Sewage Dumping

 

 

Wicomico County, MD. – A man is charged with two counts of illegal discharge of a pollutant and two counts of unlawful disposal of sewage.

Terry Adrian Handy, Jr., of Eden has been charged with two counts of illegal discharge of a pollutant and two counts of unlawful disposal of sewage.
Handy is reported to be a former employee of Price and Son Septic Services, a septic hauling business.
Officials from the Wicomico County Health Department responded to a property neighboring the service’s office and observed piping from a Price and Son sewage pump truck extending over into the adjacent property.
Officials reported that the forested area smelled of sewage.
Four days later, state officials observed Handy disconnecting a hose from a septic truck and discharging the contents on to the adjacent property.
