Wicomico Recreation & Parks’ Summerfest Returns

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – Wicomico Recreation & Parks has announced the return of Summerfest, a free family event series.

All events occur on select Thursdays, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mark your calendars for the following dates:

• Jun. 25: Lake Street Playground – Field Day
• Jul. 9: Billy Gene Jackson Sr. Park – The Arts
• Jul. 23: Doverdale Playground – Game Night
• Aug. 6: Indian Village Playground – Water World

“Summerfest gives families an opportunity to come out and enjoy the beautiful parks we have here in Wicomico County,” said Recreation Specialist Randy McFadden. “We’ll have free food, great music, kid-friendly games and a chance to connect with community vendors.”
