SALISBURY, Md. – Downtown Salisbury will celebrate Valentine’s Day Saturday, Feb. 14, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with free horse and carriage rides, live music, and a downtown dessert crawl!

Horse-and-carriage rides, provided by R&B Ranch Carriage Service, will begin in front of First Shore Federal. Participants must be in line by 2:45 p.m.; however, arrival by that time does not guarantee a ride. The dessert crawl features stops at Cake Art, Two Scoops Ice Cream and Waffles, Roadie Joe’s, Bury Tavern, Mojo’s, and Brick Row Market.

Visitors can also vote for their favorite dessert crawl stop through a new app being used by the City called Let’s Rallie. Entries have a chance to win a Downtown Salisbury “Sweetheart” prize pack, sponsored by the Downtown Business Alliance.

“Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to enjoy everything downtown has to offer,” said Mayor Randolph J. Taylor. “We hope residents and visitors take this opportunity to explore, shop, and support our local businesses while having fun with family and friends.”

A bunch of our downtown businesses are having specials for your sweetie—or to treat yourself this weekend as well! At Urban Sage salon you can pick luxuries like a chocolate deluxe pedicure or blueberry cheesecake facial a-la-carte –or go for a full day of beauty! For our restaurants, reservations are recommended if you’re looking to dine-in this weekend. For more information about what’s happening Downtown, visit the City’s website here.
