Princess Anne Police Seize Marijuana, Percocet, Loaded Gun in Traffic Stop
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The Princess Anne Police Department seized a loaded firearm and various drugs during a traffic stop on Sunday.
On Feb. 8, officers conducted a traffic stop on Route 13 (Ocean Highway). During the stop, officers recovered a loaded Smith & Wesson M&P .38 caliber revolver equipped with a laser sight. The driver, who has not been identified at this time, was found to be prohibited from possessing a firearm due to a prior conviction. He was subsequently arrested and is facing multiple criminal charges, including firearm possession and drug distribution offenses.
Officers also recovered 407 grams (14.53 ounces) of suspected marijuana, $1,580 in U.S. currency, 17 suspected Percocet tablets, and a digital scale with suspected cannabis residue.
