Senators’ strong second half dooms CR

The Dover Senators finished up their season with a 27-17 victory over rival Caesar Rodney.

Trailing 17-13 at the half, Dover’s defense stepped things up, stopping a fourth down fake punt attempt by the Riders, and then forcing a fumble two possessions later. Both turnovers would end in Dover points as sophomore quarterback Jordan MaGee had touchdown runs of 20 and four yards, respectively.

The win is the third-straight in Dover’s rivalry with CR. The Senators finish the season at 3-7, while the Riders fell to 1-9.
