Phillips drops 26 in Washington win
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Davin Phillips scored a game-high 26 in Washington’s 69-33 win against Mardela High School Thursday night.
Phillips, Sherard Fells, Aiden Horsey and Charles Smith combined for 25 in the first quarter, and an 18-point lead.
While Washington’s defense held Mardela to seven points in the second quarter, Horsey went off for ten points on five field goals in the period.
Horsey – 16, Smith – 12, and Fells – 11, joined Phillips in double-digits for Washington.
Charles Smith recorded a double-double, grabbing 11 rebounds.
