Salisbury Police investigating Monday evening shooting

SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury Police have confirmed that they are investigating a shots fired incident that happened Monday evening.

Captain Kaiser with the Salisbury Police Department tells us that shots were fired on Springfield Circle at around 6:30 p.m. Officers met with two adults when they arrived on scene, and learned through further investigation that there was a verbal argument in front of the home that led to shots being fired. As officers were interviewing the two people, they noticed a dark colored Dodge Charger fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed.

Officers were able to locate the car, initiate a traffic stop, and and interview the occupants.

No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Details are limited as the investigation is ongoing.
