UPDATE: Salisbury man charged with attempted murder of roomm

they arrested a man who apparently shot his roommate over the weekend. 62-year old jeffrey jones has reportedly been roommates for about three years — with a 50-year-old woman– he reportedly shot her in the upper torso late saturday night. authorities found her wounded when they responded to the four- hundred block of patterson avenue after reports of shots fired. according to police– jones ran off from their residence– but was quickly found by the responding officers. he reportedly had the handgun you see here– and an undisclosed amount of marijuana and cocaine. jones is facing more than fifteen charges- and is being held at the wicomico county detention center without bond. the victim was taken to the hospital — her injury is considered non life threatening. the investigation is ongoing. police say anyone with information should contact crime solvers at 410-548-17-76. a couple from berlin — is now under investigation — for charges of
