Man critically injured from Lewes house fire

LEWES, Del. – Friday night, Investigators comb through the rubble of a house fire that left a man in critical condition.
Earlier Friday, First responders made the trip to Matthew Circle, just off Route 24.
When they arrived they found a home in flames and a 73 year old man badly injured.
Authorities tell us that the elderly victim was taken to a hospital in New Castle County.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal is now looking into the case.
We’re told the blaze caused about 25-thousand dollars worth of damage.
