Wicomico Bests Talbot in Legion Ball Tounament

Wicomico beat Talbot 5-1 last night in the regional, double elimination American Legion Ball Tournament.

Facing Jake Zebron, Wicomico struck first in the bottom of the first inning, executing a double steal with Colin Green tagging up at home. In the third, Devynn Handock singled to deep center to drive in Green. Mardela grad Cole Lambrose had a sac fly to the warning track, driving in La’Bron Hilliard.

With the win, Wicomico punched their ticket to the title game. Talbot faces elimination today against Worcester.
