Gold Alert cancelled for missing Dover man

UPDATE: DSP say Bobby Ward has been located and the Gold Alert has been cancelled.

Members of the Delaware State Police have issued a Gold Alert for Bobby Ward, 26, of Dover.

Troopers say Ward has been missing since about 6:20 P.M. Friday, after he left his home.

State Police believe there is a concern for Ward’s safety and welfare, as troopers have not been able to make contact with him.

Ward is described as a white male. He is 6’01” tall, 186 lbs., with has brown hair and hazel eyes. Police could not offer a description of his clothing at this time.

Anyone with information on Ward’s whereabouts is asked to call Troop 3 at 302-697-4454. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, via the internet at www.tipsubmit.com, or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword “DSP.”
