Ocean City restaurant week is here

OCEAN CITY, Md. — Ocean City Restaurant Week has returned, giving diners a chance to enjoy some of the area’s best cuisine at fixed prices while supporting local businesses.

The two-week event, which is already underway and runs through May 11, features a range of participating restaurants offering special menus designed to highlight signature dishes and seasonal offerings.

“It really is the time,” said Susan Jones, executive director of the Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association (HMRA). “We picked a time specifically to kick off the season and really encourage the people to dine out to start the economy. But we also have the opportunities for diners to get great deals.”

Ocean City Restaurant Week aims to boost early-season tourism and showcase the essential role of the hospitality industry in the local economy.

“Our restaurants are the backbone, along with lodging, in this community,” Jones said. “We have to have tourism — that is our economic engine.”

In addition to tasting local favorites, diners who share their experiences on social media using the hashtag #OCRW2025 will be entered for a chance to win a $100 gift card redeemable at participating restaurants.
