Seaford man arrested on warrant for heroin charges

On Thursday, Seaford Police Officers say they arrested a man on a warrant and took him into custody.
Around 1 PM, Seaford officers, along with officers from Delaware State Police Troop #5, apparently contacted the Rontay Holmes, 23, of Seaford, in the parking lot of Meadowbridge Apartments.
Officers reportedly had an arrest warrant for Holmes, and took him into custody without incident.
According to the report, officers recovered 143 bags of heroin and $880 in suspected drug money in Holmes’ pockets, and he is awaiting arraignment via JP Court #2 videophone.
Holmes is reportedly charged with delivery of a controlled substance, heroin, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, heroin, and possession controlled substance, heroin at a tier 3 quantity.
