Local organizations in need of Christmas donations

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – The Life Crisis Center and Casa are asking for the public’s support in making Christmas special for Wicomico County families.

The organizations help remove women and children from domestic violence situations
and facilitate foster home arrangements. They also serve as safe havens for those impacted by sex trafficking.

The group said they’re in need of donations for sponsored families this holiday season. Ambassador, Keith Hornberger said this helps make Christmas count for the kids.

“I just talked to a little boy the other day and he was so concerned that him, and his foster family, were going to go to Tennessee– was Santa Clause going to be able to find him? Well, you better believe we’re going to make sure that happens,” Hornberger said.

Hornberger added gift cards and unwrapped toys make for the best donations. You can drop gifts off at Atlantis Tattoo on West Main St. in Salisbury.
