Ocean City Police arrest suspected Georgetown heroin dealer

The Ocean City Police Department says its detectives arrested a Delaware man on Tuesday after they discovered he had reportedly sold heroin to a person who suffered a non-fatal heroin overdose earlier in March.
Police say officers responded on March 7th to an overdose on Old Landing Road. Ocean City EMS administered naloxone, reviving the victim, officials said.
Detectives with the OCPD Criminal Investigation Division Narcotics Unit learned through an investigation that 29-year-old Alexandre L. Dejournette of Georgetown, Del. was the drug dealer who allegedly sold heroin to the overdose patient. Detectives located Dejournette and took him into custody on Tuesday, police said.
Dejournette is charged with distribution of heroin and possession of heroin. He has been committed to the Worcester County Jail on a $75,000 bail.
