The 4th Annual Rods for Reading Car Show will take place on Saturday
HOUSTON, Del. – The Friends of Kent Public Library will host its annual Rods for Reading car show on Saturday, held at the G&R Campground, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Visitors can enjoy hot rides, small puzzles, and book sales. Along with the main event, the car show. It will feature 200 car enthusiasts who are expected to participate. Cars, Motorcycles, and tractors are all eligible to enter with the cost of $15.
Friends of Kent County Public Library treasurer said she’s so excited to get the community together in an engaging way, “Just an opportunity to engage the community in a different way to help raise money for the friends of the Kent County Public Library and we couldn’t do it without the support of the friends and the support of the campground, again G&R Campgrounds have been very generous in letting us use the campgrounds.”
Registration is open until the event starts tomorrow morning, if there is rain, however, the make-up date is set for Sunday, September 1st, at the same time.
