Let’s Move Delaware Initative

SUSSEX COUNTY, Del.–  The YMCA is bringing back their “Let’s Move Delaware” initiative.

From September 12th to October 10th– the YMCA will host a series of events and activities designed to motivate Delawareans of all ages to get active and moving.

They say its all part of their goal to build stronger and healthier communities.

YMCA officials say they hope the initiative brings people together and encourages healthy living.

“I hope that people will come out and play,” Paden said. “Playing is just so healthy and it allows families to connect and just get moving.”

Paden also says she hopes the events inspires people to create new habits.

“I would hope that people would get involved in something and say I am going to make this a habit because moving feels good.”
