Mudcats score late, take second game of series
SALISBURY, Md. – The Shorebirds drop another game to the Mudcats, 6-3, Wednesday night at Perdue Stadium.
The Mudcats started it off in the forth inning when Reece Walling singled to the left field bringing Eric Bitonti home.
Delmarva responded when Colin Tuft doubled bringing Ryan Stafford home. Edwin Amparo grounded a ball to third, bringing Tuft home.
The Mudcats came back in the fifth inning and scored two runs to tie the score once again.
In the bottom of the sixth Elis Cuevas was walked, then proceeded to steal both second and third. He later scored on a Tuft single.
The Mudcats would then proceed to score two runs in the seventh inning and one more run in the eighth.
The Shorebirds will play the Mudcats in the third game of this series Thursday night at 7:05 pm.
