Months-long drug investigation leads to arrest of Bridgeville man
BRIDGEVILLE, Del. – An early morning search at a Bridgeville home led to one arrest.
At around 6 a.m., multiple law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at a residence on Polk Road following a two-month-long investigation into 50-year-old Willie Anderson. Anderson was suspected of the large-scale distribution of narcotics and was taken into custody at the residence.
During the search, police found a total of ten firearms, multiple types and rounds of ammunition, approximately 350.47 grams of cocaine, approximately 6.2 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 234 dextroamphetamine pills, approximately 52 suboxone strips, and over $13,000 in suspected drug dealing money.
Anderson was held at SCI on a $1,158,600 cash bond on a list of drug and firearm charges.
