Vikings snap Seahawks 10 game winning streak

LEWES, Del.– Cape Henlopen defeated Decatur in a final score of 9-5 on Saturday afternoon.

Cape would be the ones to get on the scoreboard first with 3 runs in the bottom half of the 2nd inning. They would tack on 2 more runs in the bottom of the 3rd to take a 5-0 lead.

The Seahawks would get right back in the game with 3 runs in the 4th to trim the deficit to 2 runs. It would stay 5-3 until the bottom of the 6th. Ava Calciano gave the Vikings their first insurance run of the 6th inning. Abigail Marsh would put the game out of reach with a 2 run RBI double.

The Vikings improve to 6-2 on the season.
