REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – City officials want to remind visitors to follow certain beach rules during their stay this summer.
As of May 1st the Rehoboth Beach Police Department say visitors must keep their dogs away from the beach or boardwalk.
In addition, only umbrellas with a circular shade no greater than 8 inches in diameter and a central pole no greater than 7 feet and 6 inches in height are allowed on the beach.
On top of that smoking on the boardwalk and beach is not permitted.
