Ferrara, Gwin lead Salisbury into CAC semifinals

Salisbury tops Southern Virginia

SEA GULL STADIUM, Md. – Salisbury men’s lacrosse came to play Saturday afternoon hosting (7) Southern Virginia in the first round of the CAC tournament.

A seven goal first quarter would help pace the Sea Gulls through the first half; going up 11-5 at the break.

Twelve goals in the fourth quarter when then seal the deal as Salisbury advances to the CAC semifinals with the 27-9 win over Southern Virginia.

The Sea Gulls will host either (6) Mary Washington or (3) Christopher Newport on Wednesday, May 1st.

Cross Ferrara and Corey Gwin led the way for Salisbury tallying five goals each in the win.
