Decatur shells North Caroline in Homecoming rout

BERLIN, Md. – The Decatur Seahawks proved once again they are the class of the Bayside with a 44-20 victory over North Caroline Friday night.

Decatur built up a 44-7 lead through three quarters of play before resting their starters for the fourth quarter.

Careen Bolden left the game due to an ankle injury. We’re told it’s not serious, and Bolden should be back in the next couple of weeks.

Decatur moves to 7-0 and will play at WiHi next week. North Caroline (6-1) now faces a showdown with Kent Island at home Friday.
