Delmarva Discovery Center & Museum looking to attract more locals

The Delmarva Discovery Center & Museum*has been chosen as one of our media partners at 47 ABC.

The Delmarva Discovery Center has been around for about 7.5 years in downtown Pocomoke City. The center has live animals, educational exhibits, and hands-on activities activities for visitors of all ages.

Stacey  Weisner, the president and CEO of the museum tells us one of their busiest time is during the summer when folks visit Ocean City.

However with our promotions she's hoping to attract more locals throughout the Delmarva peninsula.

"We know it is going to transform us and catapult us to the next level. There is a lot of people in the area, in Pocomoke and Salisbury and know nothing about the discovery center and we can't wait to explain who we are and what we do and how we hep the community," says Weisner.

Weisner says their biggest accomplishment is their River Otter exhibit. She says it has grown to be one of their most popular attractions, especially amongst children.
