Police: Two arrested for Denton burglary, pill distribution

The Caroline County Sheriff's Office says they arrested two people in connection to a burglary that happened on Burrsville Road in Denton.
The two suspects arrested, Teresa Holden and Joshua Bain, both 26 and of Greensboro, were also found to be illegally distributing Percocets and Xanax pills, police said.
Police say the investigation began on January 22nd when the burglary victims alerted officers that someone entered their home and took clothing, shoes and DVDs.
Witnesses reportedly saw the suspects enter the home through the rear door and exit from the front with a black tote bag. Police say witnesses were able to take photos of the suspects' car, a black Buick, giving police vital information on the car's registration.
Police linked the car to Holden and obtained an arrest warrant for her and a search and seizure warrant for her residence in Greensboro.
During the search of Holden and Bain's bedroom, police say they found items linking her to the burglary. They also report that they found a plastic bag containing cocaine and an unopened Suboxone strip.
Police arrested Holden and Bain and found through further investigation their involvement in distributing pills. From a post-Miranda interview with Bain, police say he told them where to locate the items stolen in the burglary. All stolen items were located, police say.
Holden is charged with first degree burglary, third degree burglary, fourth degree burglary, fourth degree theft and theft under $1,000.
Bain is charged with the same charges as Holden, but additionally faces several controlled dangerous substance charges.
Both were taken to the Caroline County Detention Center where they were ordered held without bond.
