Probationer arrested for loitering at Milford apartment complex
DOVER, Del. – A Dover man has been arrested on gun charges after police say he was found loitering in an apartment complex Monday night.
At around 10 p.m., members of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force were patrolling Brightway Commons, an area in which concerned residents have reported frequent drug use, violent crimes, and other quality of life issues. Task Force members found 25-year-old Raheem Fullman, a probationer and convicted felon, loitering outside of an apartment building, where several people were drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana.
A probation officer reportedly asked Fullman while he was loitering outside past the complex’s curfew, but he was not cooperative. He was subsequently taken into custody, at which time officers saw a handgun in his waistband. Officers took the gun and discovered that it was loaded and had an obliterated serial number.
Fullman was charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of a weapon with an obliterated serial number, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of a weapon in a safe recreation zone, and loitering. He was held at SCI on a $25,001 cash bond.
