Harriet Tubman Museum Prepares for 2nd Annual Historic Harrisville Road Walk
(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – The Harriet Tubman Museum is inviting history buffs to lace up their sneakers for a trip down a historical road this weekend.
The museum is hosting a walk down Harrisville Road, leading to a historic church tied to the early life of famous abolitionist Harriet Tubman.
Museum Director, Linda Harris says the event was so well received in 2025 they wanted to bring it back.
Linda tells WMDT, “So it’s really it’s pretty authentic. So walking down there, having the trees on both sides and you kind of feel the spirit of the ancestors and people really enjoyed it. So that’s why I’m doing it again.”
The walk will begin at 10 A.M. Saturday morning at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church on Harrisville Road in Cambridge.
