Long Reach halts Bennetts’ postseason run; top the Clippers in regional final

Long Reach tops James M. Bennett

SALISBURY, Md. – The James M. Bennett lady Clippers saw their postseason run come to an end Saturday night at the hands of Long Reach High School 67-48.

The Clippers would cut the lead to seven points at the halftime break (32-25) but a 21-2 run to open the third quarter by the Lightning would be too much to overcome.

With the win, Long Reach advances to next week’s Maryland Class3-A State semi finals at Towson University.
