Layton, SU softball sweep Rochester (NY) to open season

Delmar graduate Alexis Layton pitched 5 innings, scattering 4 hits and allowing just two earned runs as the Salisbury University softball team finished off a season opening doubleheader sweep, by defeating Rochester (NY) 11-3 in game two.

Emily Allen finished with 4 RBIs in the game, while Dakota Fraley knocked in two.

The Gulls will host Stevens Institute on Sunday, February 17th at 11:30 am.
