Man pleads guilty to August robbery in Dover

A man who was arrested for robbing two victims in Dover in August pleaded guilty and was sentenced in Kent County on Thursday morning.

According to Delaware Department of Justice officials, William Loper pleaded guilty to second degree robbery.

He was then sentenced to five years in prison but that time was suspended after Loper serves 140 days in prison and a year of probation.

Loper was arrested in August for displaying a handgun and stealing cash, watches and a cell phone for victims who met with him to purchase a phone.
