Salisbury families enjoy the snow day

SALISBURY, Md. – Even though the snow turned to rain on Sunday that did not stop families across Delmarva from stepping outside and enjoying the first flakes of 2019.

Some kids at the Salisbury City Park said they did not mind the rain because they were just excited to once again be able to sled, make snow angels and have some snowball fights.

Their parents said there is little that can stop them from enjoying some snow day fun.

“We decided despite the rain with the first snow of the winter, we just had to come out and get our first sled in,” said Noelle Edelman, a Salisbury resident.

“We still have a little bit of snow and he’s having a great time sliding down here, so it’s working out just fine,” said Edelman.

Families said they are hoping to see even more snow this season.
