Ocean View man pleads guilty in Sussex Co.

Officials say a man charged in connection with several burglaries around Sussex County has pleaded guilty.
According to Delaware Department of Justice, William Tingle of Ocean View pleaded guilty on Thursday morning.
Tingle was arrested on October 6 after he was found to be in possession of crack cocaine during a traffic stop near Laurel. Reports of a computer inquiry found he was wanted out of Worcester County, Maryland for several burglaries. When he was arrested, Tingle was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Detectives continued to follow-up on thefts from cars and other burglaries in the Selbyville and Frankford areas and were able to connect Tingle to 17 other complaints.
He was additionally charged with three counts of second degree burglary, twelve counts of theft under $1500 where the victim is 62 or Older, eight counts of theft under $1500, criminal mischief, and fifteen counts of criminal trespass 3rd.
Tingle's pre-sentencing has been set for February 17 in Sussex County Superior Court.
