Miller Brothers Lift Mallards Over Warriors

Worcester Prep earned a big win for the program Wednesday night when they defeated Mardela 41-38 in the Governor's Challenge.

Mardela came out hot in this one and made it seem as if this one wasn't even going to be close. After a big run from the Warriors early in the game, the Mallards had a run of their own led by Brendan Miller and they were right back in the game. As we've all heard, basketball is a game of runs and the Warriors went on another one as Traevon Brown was playing very well for the Warriors. It was back and forth with the runs as the Mallards came right back with a run of their own to make the game neck and neck again. After all of the runs, the two teams were just trading buckets for a while and it was a close one. The Warriors were getting to the foul line, but just couldn't find the bottom of the net and that ended up being what hurt them in the end. The Millers brothers took over this game late and the Mallards had the last say in this one as they pulled away for the lead.
