Pocomoke takes down South Carroll to win back to back state titles

OWINGS MILLS, Md.– Pocomoke defeated South Carroll in a final score of 5-1 on Saturday afternoon in the class 1a state title game.

Pocomoke would get on the scoreboard first with a goal from Marli McDorman. McDorman would have a big game against South Carroll as she tallied a total of 3 goals and 1 assist.

Junior Forward Dakota Trader would record 2 goals herself to help lift her team to another state title.

Pocomoke wins the class 1a state title for the second straight year. It is also the Warriors 21st title in program history.
