MD announces grants to support wine industry

In Maryland,Governor Larry Hogan has announced grants to support the state's wine industry.

Officials tell 47 ABC, $85,000 worth of grant money will go towards the Grape Growers Association and the Maryland Wineries Association. These are groups that many local wineries and vineyards belong to.

The grant money will be used for marketing, research, advertising, and educational seminars.
