Snow Hill business dazzles with detailed train display

SNOW HILL, Md. – Train lovers of all ages are getting ready for the holiday and showing off their detailed train displays.

You don’t have to look to far to find a few dozen trains chugging around the entire second floor of the Pocomoke River Canoe Company Store.

These mini steamrollers and freight trains take all year to prime and perfect for the holiday season are put on by a family and a few close friends.

The train lovers and store owners alike tell us they’re keeping the decades-old family tradition up to date by controlling and keeping track of their trains with a new phone app.

Frank Deuter, a model train enthusiast said, “The system we have up here it uses our cell phones and we can go around and work on them there.”

The fully-decorated train display will set up for the First Friday in December and the folks at Canoe Co. invite train enthusiasts of all ages to head over and see all their hard work.
