Family of 6 in need of donations after tragic house fire
SELBYVILLE, Del. – A family in Selbyville is trying to pick up the pieces, after a fire broke out in their home on Wednesday night.
Family members tell 47 ABC that an electrical issue caused the fire to engulf their home. Now friends of the family are turning to the community for help. They say the family of 6 has kids ranging from 8 to 19 years old, with a grandchild due in one month. And they lost everything.
They say they’re in need of clothing, shoes and all necessities. There is currently a Go Fund Me page up for the family and any donations can be dropped off to The Pearl Clinic In Millsboro.

Clothing sizes needed are:
- Boy’s pants: size 8-10
- Boy’s shirts: size 9-10
- Boy’s shoes: size 4.5-5
- Women’s shirts: size medium and large
- Women’s pants: size 6 and 10
- Women’s shoes: size 6
- Men’s shirts: size 2XL
- Men’s pants: size 38 x 34
