UPDATE: Second suspect arrested in connection to reckless endangering incident

SEAFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police have arrested a second suspect wanted in connection to a reckless endangering incident that occurred last month.

The incident was reported on Friday, September 21st, when troopers received a report of an incident that took place the night before at the Woodshed Bar in Seaford. Officials learned that a dispute in the parking lot led to a suspect firing rounds into an occupied vehicle.

Police identified 36-year-old Jose Cabrera-Malpica, of Milton, as the first suspect in the incident.

Cabrera-Malpica turned himself in to Troop 4 on Thursday, October 18th. He was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of first degree reckless endanger, second degree conspiracy, and criminal mischief. He was arraigned and released on $21,500 unsecured bond.

After further investigation, police learned that a second suspect allegedly pointed a gun at a 36-year-old male victim and demanded his money. After obtaining cash from the victim, the suspect fled the scene, later returning to the area and firing several shots into the air nearby.

Police identified this suspect as 23-year-old Arslan Chaudhary, of Seaford.

Chaudhary turned himself in to Troop 5 on Wednesday, October 24th. He was charged with first degree robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, and first degree reckless endager. He arraigned and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $106,000 secured bond.
