Pittsville man arrested on burglary and assault charges

SALISBURY, Md. – Wicomico County Sheriffs have arrested a Pittsville man on numerous charges including burglary and assault.

On September 26th, sheriffs deputies were called to respond to a resident on Riverside Drive Extended, in Salisbury, for a reported burglary after the fact.

The victims reported that during the night, a man broke into their home and assaulted a victim. It was also reported that the suspect was naked during the incident.

Deputies identified 47-year-old Dino Louis Caruso, of Pittsville, as the suspect in this incident. An arrest warrant was obtained for Caruso, who was apprehended on October 4th.

Caruso was charged with 1st, 3rd, and 4th degree burglary, 4th degree sex offense, indecent exposure, 2nd degree assault, and theft under $100. He was taken to Central Booking and held without bond.
