Police: Two homes struck by gunfire in Delaware, investigation ongoing

A shooting remains under investigation after police say that two homes were struck by gunfire, in Dover. 

The Dover Police Department says on Tuesday, just before 8:50 PM, officers responded to the 400 Block of East Water Street in reference to shots being fired. According to the report, no one was injured as a result of the incident in the Capitol Green area. Police say several shell casings were found in the area, but no other information is available at this time.

This incident remains under investigation.
