UPDATE: Del. inmate in custody on escape charge

A Delaware inmate is in custody after officials say he did not return to a correctional facility from an approved work pass.

The Delaware Department of Correction says on Wednesday, 23-year-old Joseph Hnosko was arrested without incident by the Sussex Community Corrections Center Escape Recovery Team, in Georgetown.  The 23-year-old was wanted after not returning to SCCC from an approved work pass, on April 12.

Hnosko was initially serving time for burglary third degree.

Authorities say Hnosko was arraigned a Justice of the Peace 2 before being turned over to to the Sussex Correctional Institution on an escape after conviction warrant. He was placed in custody in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
