Salisbury’s Walk MS raising funds to find a cure

Hundreds of people came out Sunday morning to help put an end to multiple sclerosis.
Walk MS brings friends and families together to help anyone affected by the debilitating disease.
Multiple sclerosis is a disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of nerves. It's neurological and it affects the spinal chord.
Community members came out to do their one mile and three mile walk and every dollar raised through the walk will go straight towards research and programs.
Cindi Pietroski, who's on the Walk MS committee and dealing with MS says, "It's also to help people with mobility access and those who need help going to a doctor's appointment and all those others things that come with having a diagnosis of MS. The disease itself is so unpredictable that all the help that we can get when we hear that we have MS, it's such a benefit to those who have to hear that diagnosis.
If you missed the walk, you still have a chance to donate. You can still register as a virtual walker here.
