We’re told the first happened Monday evening at around 8:40 p.m. Georgetown Police responded to a shots fired complaint in the area of East Laurel Street and North Race Street, and on arrival, found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Further investigation revealed that a male subject was seated in his parked vehicle when another subject walked up and, for unknown reasons, shot at the subject in the vehicle. The vehicle occupant was not injured. Multiple individuals then began to chase the shooter, who reportedly fired multiple shots at the group, hitting an adult male. The suspect then got into his vehicle and drove away from the area and was last seen traveling northbound on North Bedford Street.
