Restaurants prepare to put their best foot forward

Salisbury is gearing up for its annual restaurant week beginning Monday. Restaurant week is an opportunity for businesses in Salisbury and the surrounding areas to display everything they have to offer to customers, in the hopes of attracting more business to the area.
For one week, local restaurants will offer specials, and local chefs will have the chance to showcase their culinary talents with their best dishes.
"It gives us an opportunity to bring people in from the community and kind of show everyone our best dishes. This week we're going to be doing a lot of dishes with salmon, we're going to be showcasing our crab cakes, which we're known for," said Alexis Turcol, head server and manager at Fratelli's. "And it kind of gives everyone an opportunity to see our restaurant and what we're about."
