OC’s inlet parking lot gets new retaining wall

If you're going to visit the OC boardwalk, there's a brand new feature to protect you. 

Near the inlet parking lot, you'll be seeing a set of barriers. It's the town's newest retaining wall. 

It's Ocean City's effort to keep cars off the boardwalk. The barriers were installed just a few days prior Memorial Day Weekend.

It will be a way to protect pedestrians in the upcoming months. 

But this is just a temporary fix. We're told a permanent wall is coming and it will look a bit nicer but have the same affect. They aim to have it up for next summer.
