Delmarva Homegrown to Close After Nearly 3 Years

SALISBURY, Md. — A downtown Salisbury business is closing its storefront this weekend after about three years in operation.

Delmarva Home Grown, which opened in 2023, announced it will close its retail location this weekend.

Owners Mitch and Leann Marriner shared the following statement with WMDT:

“Delmarva Home Grown has been more successful than we ever imagined, and we are so grateful for the support this community has shown us. In our very first year, we were honored to receive Coastal Style’s Best New Business Award—an achievement that reflects the amazing community that stood behind us. This wasn’t an easy decision, but as our family’s priorities have shifted, we knew it was the right time to close this chapter. To our incredible Planties & Growmies, thank you. You turned our dream into something truly special, and we’ll always be grateful for the amazing community you helped us build.”

The business will remain open during the Christmas in July event Saturday before closing its storefront.
