Early morning house fire in Salisbury
SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Fire Department responded to a call at approximately 9:55 A.M. October 8th, at 1001 Russell Avenue for a single-family house fire.
The home sustained damage to the outside and inside of the home as crews worked throughout the morning to put out the flames. The estimated structural loss in $200,000.00 and an estimated loss of contents at $50,000.00. Two cats and a dog died in the fire. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital.
No details at this time have been released as to the cause of the blaze.
