Federalsburg town manager resigns

Federalsburg, Md- This week Federalsburg’s town manager resigned.

The town made an announcement on their official Facebook page that Larry Dire’s last day in office will be on June 21st.

He is vacating the position in order to take on the job of town manager in Chestertown.

In a social media post Federalsburg stated that the mayor and council will appoint an interim for the position while they seek out a new permanent town manager.
